What about having the Scouts be responsible for the worship? 
My son's troop at a neighboring UMC congregation will be 
leading the entire service, including the sermon. The 
pastor of that congregation will have the opportunity to 
sit in the pew and worship along with the rest of the 
people. Is there any better way for them to learn to 
be leaders both as Scouts and as church members?
